Open online course for construction sector trainers to develop gender equality competence. This is an action launched by the project as part of its commitment to achieve an equal sector from the ground up: The training.
The training allows trainers to become aware of the gender equality barriers, to know good practices and measures used to resolve them and to learn how to deal with conflict resolution.
It is an interactive course that encourages learning, through didactic videos that exemplify the inclusive measures, and techniques that must be implemented during the training of apprentices and future workers of the construction sector.
Likewise, Women Can Build, as part of its awareness-raising campaign, has published several testimonial videos of students from the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción in Madrid and in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and from other partnership countries. Those videos show the professional experience and the barriers that they have encountered in the workshops and at the work site.
