The Icaro project addresses gender inequality at its inception

En la reunión de lanzamiento se abordó la dificultad de los empresarios para encontrar mano de obra cualificada que cubra sus necesidades. En línea con esta problemática, se presentó el , que trabaja para el fomento de la inserción laboral de las mujeres, como posible solución a la escasez de trabajadores, así como por la defensa de la igualdad de género en la industria.

Last February saw the start of the Icaro project, belong to the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, led by our Italian partners from Formedil and in which Fundación Laboral de la Construcción participates. For two years, the consortium will work to define a trajectory of training and professional qualification that covers the new demands of the construction labour market, through technological and organisational innovation for the construction sector.

the launch meeting addressed the difficulty of employers to find qualified labour to meet their needs. In line with this problem, the Women Can Build project was presented, which works to promote the insertion of women into the labour market, as a possible solution to the shortage of workers, as well as for the defence of gender equality in industry.
